We have an exciting opportunity to tell you about.

In 2005, The Culinary Institute of America led a tribute to Robert M. Parker Jr. on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the The Wine Advocate. That celebratory event is now an annual event which provides Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate Scholarships at The Rudd Center for Professional Wine Studies at the CIA.

This year, the Robert M. Parker Jr. Wine Seminar & Tasting will be an occasion not to be missed. Called “Great Grenaches from Around the World”, it will be held on October 20 from 1:30 – 4:00 pm in the Ecolab Theatre at Greystone. Mr. Parker has selected 14 grenaches from the United States, Australia, France and Spain. The limited audience of 95 will also enjoy a Champagne reception following the tasting seminar and an opportunity to visit the Rudd Center for Professional Wine Studies.

The Professional Wine Studies Program at Greystone educates hundreds of wine, food, and hospitality professionals each year in comprehensive and practical two to five day courses. Housed in the new state-of-the-art Rudd Center, the program benefits from classrooms designed specifically for the sensory evaluation of wine. Many of the country’s most revered wine professionals are members of the college’s wine studies faculty. Karen MacNeil, noted wine authority, TV host, and author, is Chair of the Professional Wine Studies program.
