CellarPro Self-Contained 1/4 Ton 1800XTS-HE

$2,295.00 - $2,445.00
Categories: COOLING UNITS
SKU : 37164

CellarPro 1800XTS-HE Cooling Unit (P/N 37164). The 1800XTS-HE is built to deliver maximum cooling power in its class, providing 1/4-ton cooling for small wine cellars up to 400 cubic feet under standard sizing assumptions (no glass, 85F ambient and R-19 insulation throughout). With an R-290 compressor, EC fans and aluminum evaporator coils, it delivers powerful performance with efficient airflow, reduced environmental impact and energy-saving components.

CellarPro engineered the 1800XTS-HE for customers who want the most cooling capacity in a compact, cellar-friendly footprint. With a wide 47F–62F setpoint range and adjustable humidity control, it helps protect cork integrity and wine labels in properly designed wine cellars.

All air-cooled refrigeration equipment requires a source of fresh air to dissipate heat. The fresh air intake must come from outside the wine cellar and cannot be drawn from the cellar space.

Designed for indoor use only, 1800XTS-HE units can operate in ambient conditions from 40F to 95F out of the box with a plug-in design. For operation in colder environments, see the Options & Upgrades tab for recommended modifications.

CellarPro 1800 Series Enhance Warranty:

CellarPro 1800XTS-HE wine cooling units deliver 1925 BTUH total / 1602 BTUH sensible capacity at 55F, providing 1/4-ton cooling for small wine cellars up to 400 cubic feet using standard sizing assumptions (no glass, 85F ambient and R-19 insulation throughout).* Built to deliver maximum cooling power in its class, the 1800XTS-HE features a powerful low-GWP compressor, upgraded EC fans, longer-lasting Aluminum coils and robust components engineered for demanding installs where condenser air ranges from 40F to 95F. This upgraded unit delivers strong cooling performance with lower energy usage and reduced environmental impact, plus adjustable humidity control to protect corks and labels.

*Deviation from these assumptions should be evaluated using our online Wine Cellar Cooling Calculator.

Key Benefits

  • High-performance cooling: 1925 total / 1602 sensible BTUH @ 55F for optimal temperature and humidity management
  • Low-GWP system: R-290 refrigerant with ultra-low GWP and zero-ODP
  • EC fan technology: lower energy usage and more powerful airflow
  • Longer coil life: Aluminum evaporator coils to help resist formicary corrosion and support longer service life
  • Adjustable humidity control: Helps protect cork integrity and wine labels
  • Compact design: provides the same footprint and produces the most BTUH in its class

Performance Overview

  • Setpoint range: 47F–62F (cellar temperature)
  • Designed to maintain ideal cellar conditions: Helps maintain humidity levels that support cork and label protection
  • Best fit: Small wine cellars requiring 1/4-ton cooling power using standard sizing assumptions*

Compatibility & Replacement Guide

The 1800XTS-HE is an upgraded replacement for:

  • CellarPro 1800XTS-ECX

It also provides more powerful cooling capacity and is sized to replace competitor units such as:

  • Breezaire 2200
  • Wine-Mate 2500

The 1800XTS-HE cooling unit is a strong upgrade for customers seeking:

  • The most powerful cooling unit in its class
  • A more energy-efficient 1/4-ton wine cellar cooler
  • A modern R-290 wine storage cooling solution

Installation Requirements

For optimum performance and warranty coverage, the 1800XTS-HE must be installed in a properly insulated, airtight wine cellar with a vapor barrier.

Recommended conditions and sizing assumptions:

  • R-19 insulation or better
  • No glass walls
  • Vapor barrier installed on the warm side
  • Ambient temperature of 85F (sizing assumption)
  • Access to fresh air from 40F to 95F (condenser air)
  • Deviation from these assumptions should be evaluated using our Wine Cellar Cooling Calculator

Ducting guidelines:

  • Cold side cannot be ducted
  • Hot side can be ducted only when using a CellarPro duct hood and auxiliary fan
  • This model is engineered for indoor use only.

BTU/h Rating

1925 BTUH total / 1602 BTUH SENSIBLE CAPACITY AT 55F

The BTU/h value shown here is a theoretical number. There are often circumstances under which a cellar design may require a larger unit due to variables not accounted for in the formula. For example, these variables could be building materials (such as glass, stone, concrete, etc.) which do not offer the insulation capacity required to maintain the optimal cellar environment. We recommend purchasing a unit with a larger capacity to compensate for these unaccounted-for variables. An undersized unit can lead to premature failure and will most likely prevent the cellar from reaching your desired temperature.

  • R-290 Compressor: delivers higher BTUH with lower energy use and environmentally friendly refrigerant.
  • Now with coated aluminum evaporator coils, which are not subject to formicary corrosion, the leading cause of cooling unit failure
  • Energy-efficient components (compressor and EC Fans on both the cold and hot sides), save $57.75 in annual energy costs (assumes 75% runtime and $0.15/kWh).
  • This unit offers a choice of top or rear hot exhaust. If the unit's location does not provide sufficient room for airflow, you may need to purchase a rear duct kit.
  • Adjustable humidity control combines a high-output compressor with flexible fan cycles to maintain a recommended moisture level inside your cellar.
  • Extra-large coils generate maximum cooling power.
  • The intuitive LED display panel mounted on the evaporator with a digital programmable thermostat is simple and easy to use. A remote thermostat is available as an upgrade.
  • Energy-saver mode, quick-chill mode, and auto-defrost cycle provide convenient solutions to common cellar needs.
  • Temperature set point range is 47F to 62F when the cooling unit is sized correctly.
  • Unit operates with minimal vibrations and less noise than comparable units from competitors.
  • Audible and visual alarms and maintenance-needed indicators protect the cooling unit and the wine cellar.
  • 8-foot power cord exits from the rear and plugs into standard 110V receptacles.
  • A standard dedicated 15-amp circuit is required to power the unit.
  • A 3-amp electric receptacle is provided to run a small lamp.
  • Removable steel case provides access to the internal components for servicing and repair.
  • CellarPro's 5-Year Standard Warranty, the most thorough in the industry, protects the unit against manufacturing defects.
  • An optional Enhanced Warranty (#1835) is available for additional protection.
  • ETL Tested and Certified to rigorous UL Standards for safety.
