The WhisperKOOL Ceiling Mount 4000 is a ductless split wine cellar cooling system designed to provide powerful, discreet cooling while preserving valuable wall and floor space for wine storage.
The evaporator mounts above the wine cellar ceiling, keeping the cooling system virtually invisible while distributing conditioned air throughout the cellar. The system is available with your choice of a 110V ΩMEGA H.E. Condenser or 220V Advanced H.E. Condenser, allowing you to select the configuration that best fits your installation requirements.
The 110V ΩMEGA H.E. condenser provides a flexible option for installations where 110V power is preferred or required. Depending on the installation, the ΩMEGA condenser can be configured for indoor or outdoor placement using the appropriate accessories.
The 220V Advanced H.E. Condenser is designed for high-efficiency performance, ultra-quiet operation, simplified installation, and reliable operation across a wide range of ambient conditions.
WhisperKOOL specifies operation in extreme climates from −20°F to 120°F and highlights enhanced durability, serviceability, and built-in diagnostic capabilities for demanding wine cellar applications.
Note: Installation should be performed by a qualified HVAC-R technician familiar with split refrigeration systems and wine cellar applications.
*PLEASE NOTE: WhisperKOOL does not provide smart thermostat. By selecting the 24V Thermostat Conversion Kit, you have acknowledged that the system will not be built with the standard WhisperKOOL control or liquid measuring bottle probe. You will have to source and purchase your own 24V smart thermostat to run the equipment. The WhisperKOOL Customer Satisfaction Team does not provide technical support for smart thermostats.

The BTU/h value shown here is a theoretical number. There are often circumstances under which a cellar design may require a larger unit due to variables not accounted for in the formula. For example, these variables could be building materials (such as glass, stone, concrete, etc.) which do not offer the insulation capacity required to maintain the optimal cellar environment. We recommend purchasing a unit with a larger capacity to compensate for these unaccounted-for variables. An undersized unit can lead to premature failure and will most likely prevent the cellar from reaching your desired temperature.
Choosing between the 110V ΩMEGA H.E. and 220V Advanced H.E. condenser depends on available electrical service, condenser location, installation environment, and project requirements.

The WhisperKOOL Advanced H.E. Condenser represents the latest generation of WhisperKOOL's high-efficiency condenser technology for select split systems.
Designed for demanding wine cellar applications, the Advanced H.E. combines high-efficiency cooling with enhanced protection, built-in diagnostics, and improved serviceability.
No exterior condenser housing required
The Advanced H.E. condenser is available for the WhisperKOOL Ceiling Mount Mini, 4000, and 8000 systems. WhisperKOOL identifies these models as the current Advanced H.E. 220V configurations.
The Ceiling Mount 4000 can be ordered with an optional 24V Thermostat Conversion Kit.
Selecting the 24V conversion changes the standard control configuration. The standard WhisperKOOL KDT control and liquid-temperature-measuring bottle probe are not used with this configuration.
A compatible 24V thermostat must be supplied by the customer.
Important: Compatibility with third-party thermostats should be confirmed before ordering. WhisperKOOL does not provide technical support for third-party smart thermostat programming or operation.
The Ceiling Mount 4000 is designed for larger wine cellar applications than the MINI. WhisperKOOL's current documentation identifies approximately 2,000 cubic feet as a reference cellar size when the cellar is fully insulated and properly sealed with a vapor barrier.
Actual cooling requirements vary based on the specific heat load of the cellar.
Factors that can affect cooling requirements include:
A heat-load calculation should be performed before selecting a cooling system. An undersized system may not be able to maintain the desired cellar temperature and can result in excessive system operation or premature failure.

The Ceiling Mount 4000 is designed for professional installation.
The evaporator is installed above the wine cellar ceiling, while the remote condenser is installed according to the requirements of the selected condenser configuration.
A qualified HVAC-R technician should perform installation, refrigerant connections, evacuation, charging, electrical connections, and system commissioning as required.
WhisperKOOL's current quick-start documentation specifies a maximum 100-foot line-set length, including equivalent fitting lengths for elbows and bends.
