The WhisperKOOL Ceiling Mount 8000 is a ductless split wine cellar cooling system designed to provide powerful, discreet cooling while preserving valuable wall and floor space for wine storage.
The evaporator mounts above the wine cellar ceiling, keeping the cooling system virtually invisible while distributing conditioned air throughout the cellar. The system is available with your choice of a 110V ΩMEGA H.E. Condenser or 220V Advanced H.E. Condenser, allowing you to select the configuration that best fits your installation requirements.
The 110V ΩMEGA H.E. condenser provides a flexible option for installations where 110V power is preferred or required. Depending on the installation, the ΩMEGA condenser can be configured for indoor or outdoor placement using the appropriate accessories.
The 220V Advanced H.E. condenser is engineered for high-efficiency, ultra-quiet operation and reliable performance in demanding wine cellar applications. Designed for outdoor installation, it provides enhanced protection, serviceability, and built-in diagnostics, with an operating range from -20°F to 120°F.
Note: A qualified HVAC-R technician is required for the installation. Failure to have the system installed by a qualified technician will void the warranty.

By selecting the 24V Thermostat Conversion Kit, you acknowledge that the system will not be built with the standard WhisperKOOL control or liquid-measuring bottle probe. You will need to source and purchase your own compatible 24V thermostat to operate the equipment. The WhisperKOOL Customer Satisfaction Team does not provide technical support for smart thermostats.
The Ceiling Mount 8000 system includes the WhisperKOOL ceiling-mounted evaporator and the selected condenser configuration.
Please note: The refrigeration line set is not included and must be supplied separately. Optional accessories and the 24V Thermostat Conversion Kit are available separately based on the installation requirements.
The BTU/h value shown here is a theoretical number. There are often circumstances under which a cellar design may require a larger unit due to variables not accounted for in the formula. For example, these variables could be building materials (such as glass, stone, concrete, etc.) which do not offer the insulation capacity required to maintain the optimal cellar environment. We recommend purchasing a unit with a larger capacity to compensate for these unaccounted-for variables. An undersized unit can lead to premature failure and will most likely prevent the cellar from reaching your desired temperature.

A 24V Thermostat Conversion Kit is available for installations where an external 24V thermostat is preferred.
By selecting the 24V Thermostat Conversion Kit, the system will not be built with the standard WhisperKOOL control or liquid-measuring bottle probe. The customer must provide a compatible 24V thermostat to operate the equipment.

The Ceiling Mount 8000 is designed for larger wine cellar applications. WhisperKOOL's current documentation provides cooling-capacity information for the system, but actual cellar sizing depends on the specific heat load of the cellar.

Vapor-barrier performance
A heat-load calculation should be performed before selecting a cooling system. An undersized system may not be able to maintain the desired cellar temperature and can result in excessive system operation or premature failure.

The evaporator is installed above the wine cellar ceiling, while the remote condenser is installed according to the requirements of the selected condenser configuration.
A qualified HVAC-R technician should perform installation, refrigerant connections, evacuation, charging, electrical connections, and system commissioning as required.
WhisperKOOL's current installation documentation specifies a maximum 100-foot line-set length, including equivalent fitting lengths for elbows and bends.
