The Platinum Split 8000 is available with your choice of a 110V ΩMEGA H.E. Condenser or 220V Advanced H.E. Condenser, allowing you to select the configuration that best fits your electrical service, condenser location, and installation requirements.
The 110V ΩMEGA H.E. Condenser provides a flexible electrical configuration for installations where 110V power is preferred or required. The ΩMEGA condenser is designed for high-efficiency performance and flexible installation options when paired with the appropriate accessories.
The 220V Advanced H.E. Condenser is designed for high-efficiency performance, ultra-quiet operation, simplified installation, and reliable operation across a wide range of ambient conditions, including extreme climates from −20°F to 120°F. WhisperKOOL also highlights enhanced durability, serviceability, and consistent performance across a wide range of environments.
Professional HVAC-R installation is required. Failure to have the Platinum Split 8000 installed by a qualified HVAC-R technician will void the warranty.
The optional 24V Thermostat Conversion Kit changes the standard control configuration. The standard WhisperKOOL control and liquid-temperature-measuring bottle probe are not included with this configuration.
A compatible 24V thermostat must be supplied by the customer. WhisperKOOL does not provide technical support for third-party smart thermostats.
The Platinum Split 8000 system includes the WhisperKOOL evaporator unit and your selected condenser configuration. The evaporator is installed inside the wine cellar, while the remote condenser can be positioned up to 100 feet away, depending on the installation requirements.

The Platinum Split 8000 has a theoretical cooling capacity range of 3,576–4,834 BTU/h on the current WhisperKOOL product page. Actual cooling requirements can vary depending on the design, construction, insulation, ambient conditions, and other heat-producing elements of the wine cellar.
Factors such as glass, stone, concrete, insulation, ambient temperature, cellar location, lighting, and other heat-producing elements can increase the cooling load beyond the theoretical calculation.
We recommend selecting a cooling system with sufficient capacity to compensate for these variables. An undersized unit may run excessively, may not be able to maintain the desired cellar temperature, and can contribute to premature system failure.
For the most accurate system selection, a wine cellar heat-load calculation should be performed before ordering.
